More Happy Birthday to me!

My party had a Pink Poodles in Paris theme and I wore a special pink party dress and a tiara that both had "1" on them. One of my gifts was a portable sand box that my parents filled with balls and put it in my playroom. I had lots of fun playing in it with my cousin, Hope. It was a good day. If I had only known that the next day held a 12 month well baby check up and shots! But I took them like a brave little 1yr old and didn't cry too much. My doctor said I'm healthy and happy. I'm now 22 lbs. 7oz., 31 inches long and another tooth has come through for 3 on top and 3 on bottom!

Happy Birthday to me!!!

This Sunday I celebrated my very first birthday and I had a great time. I got lots of cool toys and (the best part) I got to eat cake with my bare hands. Frosting and cake ended up in my hair, ears, and nose, but they don't call them "smash cakes" for nothing!

RockStar Abbey

It's no accident that my name is spelled like the title of a Beatles album. Today I decided to get down with a Mohawk and an electric guitar. I felt my hit song "Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh" would benefit from some accompaniment.

Being A Baby is Hard Work!

Being almost 12 months old takes a lot out of a girl. Today I played whack-a-mole, put blocks in a bucket, walked almost 5 whole steps and worked on getting 2 more teeth (for a total of 5!) I went to the grocery store and needed a nap on the way home from smiling at all the people who told me I was cute. I composed and sang a song that was several minutes long on the ride home. That may not seem difficult, but the song had only one word! "Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh."
I will be a year old this Sunday, so make sure to check back and see all the cute cake photos!

Summer Fun

Now that my mom stays home with me we have a lot of fun during the day. I swim at the YMCA and go to baby story time, but my favorite is swimming in my own pool.

Here comes Abbey cottontail!

My first Easter was fun. I ate Peeps and looked for eggs at my Grandmother's house.
