Here are some pictures of me enjoying indoor activities. Now that I have mastered rolling to get where I want, I prefer to be able to roam free on the floor to terrorize the kitties!

So much can happen in 6 months

Now that I'm 6 months old (almost 7!) I have started all sorts of exciting activities. I can sit up by myself as long as nothing attracts my attention and causes me to lean too far in one direction. I can roll over with great aplomb and I'm working on a technique for crawling. I've started solid food and like any true Southernor, I enjoy cheese grits. Vanilla Custard is my favorite food so far, and I hate plain pureed meats! Socks are more interesting in my mouth than on my feet these days. Recently, I've had a series of ear infections and I might have tubes put in my ears, but maybe I will get better in the spring and not need them. My mom says I'm a very good medicine taker and I hardly ever cry when I'm sick. I have gotten use to strangers telling me I look like the Gerber baby. I take it as a compliment, but I suspect the Gerber baby uses rouge to get my naturally rosy cheeks.
